Who We Are


The OASIS Welcome Team is a dedicated group of friendly faces, warm smiles, and helpful hands. We are the first impression of our church, and we take that responsibility to heart. Our passion is to ensure every person who walks through our doors feels seen, valued, and genuinely welcomed into the OASIS family.

Our Responsibilities


The Welcome Team plays a vital role in creating a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere at OASIS Church. Our responsibilities include:

  • Warm Greetings: Offering a genuine and enthusiastic “Welcome to OASIS!” to everyone entering the church.
  • Door & Sanctuary Assistance: Opening doors, helping people find seats, and generally assisting with ease of movement throughout the building.
  • Information & Guidance: Answering questions about service times, children’s ministry, restrooms, and other church amenities.
  • New Visitor Support: Identifying and connecting with new visitors, offering them a welcome packet, and helping them feel comfortable and informed.
  • Creating a Friendly Atmosphere: Being approachable, engaging in light conversation, and fostering a sense of belonging for all.
  • Problem Solving: Discreetly and efficiently addressing any immediate needs or concerns that may arise for attendees.
  • Setting the Tone: Helping to cultivate an atmosphere of joy, peace, and acceptance from the very start of our worship experience.
